HI, I’M ALLY
I've spent over 10 years in the mental health and wellness sector, specializing in youth mental health, women’s wellness, and holistic healing services. I am a holistic psychotherapist by training, with an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia, alongside a Master of Mental Health (Psychotherapy Stream) Degree from the University of Queensland, Faculty of Medicine.
During my postgraduate studies, I had the privilege of developing in-depth knowledge and skills in Cognitive Behavioural, Family Systems, and Psychoanalytic approaches. I also became an avid researcher of breathwork, an ancient healing modality with its roots in Tibetan wisdom, that is gradually evolving into an evidence-based treatment for anxiety, depression, and PTSD, amongst other areas. Shortly after completing my thesis on The Therapeutic Applications of Holotropic Breathwork, I completed my Trauma-Informed Breathwork Certification with The Whole Health Project, and my Reiki Certification in Ubud, Bali.
My intention behind creating The Inner Orchard is to offer clients a path to sustainable healing, integrating diverse healing practices in a way that fosters balance and lasting well-being.
Qualifications

In 2020, Ally graduated with a 4.0 GPA from the University of British Columbia’s Psychology Department.
University of Queensland Brisbane, Australia.
In 2023, Ally moved to Australia to pursue a Master of Mental Health degree, successfully developing her robust psychotherapy skillset within the globally renowned Faculty of Medicine.

Ally broke the mold at her institution by being the first postgraduate student to complete a thesis on the therapeutic applications of Holotropic Breathwork in 2024.
The Whole Health Project Ubud, Bali.
Shortly after her thesis completion, Ally travelled to Bali to immerse herself into studying various ancient healing modalities. She became a trauma-informed breathwork coach in 2024.
Little School of Reiki Ubud, Bali.
Alongside her breathwork studies, Ally also pursued a hands on Reiki certification on the outskirts of Ubud through an immersive, one-on-one program.
MAPS Canada
Ally had the opportunity to further enrich her psychotherapy knowledge by completing a certification specific to psychedelic-assisted therapy in Canada.
